As a request from one of my readers, here is a demonstration video of a Touch Pro with a custom ROM installed. As you will soon see, this custom ROM is much faster and snappier than the stock ROM. Usually, after opening just a few programs, the stock ROM comes to a crawl. You’ll notice TouchFlo3D slow down and sluggish performance when switching between programs.
The ROM I used was Mighty ROM 4.12 with a 32MB page pool. In the video, you’ll see me opening lots of programs, switching back and forth between the programs and home screen, scrolling through TF3D, and more. I’m mainly trying to demonstrate the responsiveness of the device. Also, notice when I open the Windows directory – it takes all of 2 seconds!
Since people will probably ask, Diamond Background Changer changed the background in the middle of the vid. GlassFlo3D is part of the theme I’m using to make the interface transparent, the other part is the red theme provided for Mighty ROM. To get the program icons in the TouchFlo3D program tab arranged like in the video, I used All Programs Tab.

Make sure to install the sdkcerts.cab first, then FInixNOverBattery.cab
All of the above worked BEAUTIFULLY on my touch Pro, the only thing is that i dont know what to do with GlassFlow3d. How do i install it? What do i do with the files in the zip folder.
Thanks
You basically have to copy and overwrite the manilla files in your Windows folder. Just drag and drop them into your Windows folder and soft reset.
Eric,
The demo video isn’t working right now.
Thanks!
From reading some of these forums looks like the Mighty Rom wont work on my Touch Pro… I got an unlocked phone with Tmobile. Any suggested customs ROMs that will work with mine? I’ve been reading and I dont want to brick my phone in doing this. Also, will the All Programs Tab work with my GSM phone? Or does it even matter is my phone is GSM or CDMA?
Quick question, I upgraded my rom to Mighty ROM 5. and i was wondering if you knew how to make the start button act as a drop down menu not a hot key to the program list. Like how you have it working in your video. Thanks!
Rob – The All Programs Will work fine on your phone, doesn’t matter if you have a GSM/CDMA phone. For custom ROMs, I recommend looking at the xda-developers forum, since they mainly focus on GSM devices:

West – The program to do that is called Quick Menu:
